Here are the questions I asked:
- Do you have a pet near campus?
- Are there sufficient opportunities for you as a pet owner near UF?
- If a pet park were to open near campus would you bring your pet there?
- What would you suggest for the pet park that would really make it different from the other pet parks?
- How often do you think you would use this pet park?
The Interview Video

I learned that conducting interviews is harder than I
expected. A lot of people don’t want to be interview so finding five people to
interview every week was quite difficult. From now on, if anyone ask me for an
interview I will always try to find time for them. I hope eventually with
fifteen interviews under my belt I will no long feel awkward about giving
interviews to random people.
Hi, Toni! Great idea. My good friend on campus has a dog, and I'm sure she would love to take him to a designated park. After watching your interviews, I noticed that I encountered that same initial issue of getting a "no" answer to the first question. I too decided to ask if my interviewees knew someone who fit the description, and everyone knew at least someone that they could speak on behalf of. I would have just worked on rewording your second question, because it seemed a bit vague, and I noticed you had to clarify what you meant by it. All in all, great job! ReplyDeleteToni, I think this is a great idea for our campus! I also completely agree about the interviews being hard to accomplish. It can honestly be such an awkward experience do to the fact that it's random people, most of whom are confused what class would have you interviewing people on a business idea. ReplyDeleteHey, Toni! I really like your idea for campus! I have a couple friends who have pets here in Gainesville, but they have no place to collectively have all of their pets. I definitely know how you feel with the whole interview process. I found it awkward approaching complete strangers and it was always difficult to use my follow-up questions if they said no to my initial one. Overall, nicely done!
