Elevator Pitch No. 1

The company is called Pup’s Park and the opportunity that I decided to address is the growing number of pet owners, especially near the UF campus. The idea I hope to implement is a nearby area for pet owners to play with their companions. This will provide a free area for pet owners to let their dogs roam free and interact with other pets.

  1. I like your business idea, because just as you said, there are a growing number of pet owners. Where I live in downtown Baltimore, there really isn't any kind of park for pets. I know that you're talking about having a park closer to UF campus for the students and other local pet owners, but it could be useful in major cities as well. There are only little areas of grass at some apartments for the animals to use as a bathroom. And then at my apartment all we have is a balcony on the second story and half of it is fake grass where you can walk your pets so they can go to the bathroom.

  2. Toni,
I like your idea! However, you may want to do some research because I take my dogs to a dog park in Gainesville often. There is a free one and one you have to pay for. How would you make revenue/profit? Would you charge a fee for a membership? If so, I would charge less than the existing park in order to attract some customers. Please speak a little louder in your videos! Other than that, great idea and great pitch! You can check out mine here: http://taylertibbits.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-1.html
