1.)
The exit strategy that I plan to make is to sell
the business in the next 5 years. This venture was created mostly to obtain
experience in owning my own business. Hopefully, afterwards I can start a
business that will be a longer investment.
2.)
I selected this exit strategy because it is always
good to move on to better things and new challenges than stay stagnant. Having
this type of venture will give me enough experience to start another business.
I am hoping to own my own record label some in the future.
3.)
The exit strategy has really influenced me in my
decisions for the concept. For the most part, if it is a short investment more
risks can be taken. It also made me think of how to market my company so that
it may be desirable to other companies or people.
Hey Toni, we both had the same exit strategy in 5 years. I like how you explained how the venture concept was mainly for experience because I didn't really think about it like that when I wrote my post. I definitely think that the venture concept is a great experience and would be useful for future entrepreneurial ventures. You are absolutely correct in picking to sell and moving on to new and better ideas. Check out mine here:http://andrewdales.blogspot.com/2016/04/my-exit-strategy.html
ReplyDeleteHey Toni!
ReplyDeleteI like the picture you included in your post. We had very similar exit strategies. I would like to sell my business and eventually move on to something else. I haven't really thought much about my next venture, however. Have you thought at all about what your next investment will look like? You said that you would want something more long term, why is that? I planned to grow my business for 5-10 years because I'd like to eventually spread to college campuses around the United States. What do you think of this idea? Overall, great post! Good luck on your ventures!

Hey,
ReplyDeleteMy exit strategy was a little different because my business concept is more of a non profit working on bettering my community and the students at UF. Although I think your exit strategy is well thought out. I like the picture that you added to your post as well! I really enjoyed reading your post and I wish you the best of luck.
